Super Duplex Steel UNS S32750 Forged Fittings are composed primarily of 50% austenitic and 50% ferritic phases, offering an optimal combination of strength and corrosion resistance. The material contains around 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 3.6% molybdenum, and smaller amounts of nitrogen, tungsten, and other elements. This composition provides excellent resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion cracking in chloride-rich environments. The mechanical properties include high tensile strength (around 80,000 psi), yield strength (around 55,000 psi), and excellent toughness at both high and low temperatures, making it ideal for challenging applications.
