Stainless steel 317/317L forged fittings are mainly iron, chromium (approximately 18-20%), nickel (11-15%), and molybdenum (3-4%), with carbon, silicon and small amounts of manganese 317 and 317L The difference especially the intermediate and low carbon content of the 317L, which not only improves sensitivity and corrosion. These fittings exhibit excellent mechanical properties, including high tensile strength (up to 550 MPa), yield strength (up to 290 MPa), and elongation (up to 40%) especially in acidic and chloride regions and they are outstanding corrosion resistance makes it ideal for demanding applications.
