Stainless steel 347H pipe fittings are manufactured for the application of chromium (17-19%), nickel (9-13%), carbon (0.04-0.10%), and niobium, as well as manganese, silicon, phosphorus, and … sulfur do things. These materials are designed for high temperatures, with excellent creep resistance and mechanical strength. They specify 515 MPa tensile strength, 205 MPa yield strength and 40% elongation. The addition of niobium ensures intergranular corrosion resistance, making it ideal for environments with high temperatures, oxidation and chemical attack.
