Super Duplex Steel UNS S32760, also known as 2507, is composed of 24-26% chromium, 6-8% nickel, 3-5% molybdenum, and 0.2-0.3% nitrogen, along with small amounts of carbon, manganese, silicon, and phosphorus. This composition gives it exceptional corrosion resistance, particularly to pitting and crevice corrosion. The mechanical properties include a tensile strength of 85-115 ksi (585-793 MPa) and yield strength of 50-80 ksi (345-550 MPa). The alloy has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and maintains its strength and toughness even at high temperatures.
